  • City of Houston -The Housing and Community Development Department's (HCDD) mission is to provide leadership in the preservation, revitalization and improvement of Houston's low and moderate-income neighborhoods by:
    • Expanding the supply of safe, quality, affordable housing;
    • Improving the infrastructure;
    • Providing financial inducement to encourage economic development; and By providing the social and other supportive services necessary for viable neighborhoods.
    • To maximize results, HCDD leverages financial and other resources with those from the public, private and non-profit sectors for the benefit of the citizens of Houston.
  • United Cerebral - The Home Of Your Own (HOYO) Program is committed to making home ownership a reality for people with disabilities. Through HOYO, disability advocacy organizations, government housing agencies, realtors, private lenders and others join forces to help people with disabilities turn what once was the impossible dream of owning a home into a dream come true.
  • Independence Heights Baptist Pastors and Ministers Alliance - TBD
  • Independence Heights Redevelopment Council - The Independence Heights Redevelopment Council is comprised of individuals representing various organizations, agencies and groups throughout Independence Heights. We work to preserve the historical and cultural aspects of the community as well as spearhead various revitalization projects.
